The primary role of a Sales Development Representative is to build a pipeline, outreach to prospective clients and introduce BDR’s into the sales cycle. This multifaceted position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities.


  • Utilize CRM, cold calls, email and social DMs to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify the needs of prospects, and find creative ways to set the initial introduction
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results


  • 1+ years of experience in sales and or customer service
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Time management & organizational skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization\
  • A sparkling personality that will mesh well with the existing Surroundings Group family


You must be able to commit to a full-time work schedule, which is a minimum 40 hours per week during 9:30am-5pm EST business hours Monday-Friday, and work from our Tampa, FL office. Must be open to working weekends and travel at times.
